The reason the phrase
is so powerful is because it reminds me that the decisions I make have
consequences. If I decide to be diligent
in my studies, read the required books, work hard on the required paper, then I
have a good shot at doing well in my Graduate Classes. Every small decision impacts my future reward
or punishment.
